OVERVIEW

In 2018, Ravenol Oils, a renowned German manufacturer of high-performance lubricants, hosted a major event at Egypt’s International Exhibition Center. The event was part of the AutoTech exhibition — a leading automotive event in the region. This gathering brought together automotive professionals, industry leaders, and enthusiastic consumers under one roof to explore innovations in engine oil technology and brand presence.

As the official event photographer, my goal was to visually capture the essence of the event — from the vibrant crowd interactions and the sleek presentation of Ravenol’s products to the genuine reactions and testimonials from attendees.

CHALLENGES & APPROACH

One of the main challenges was working in a busy exhibition space with lots of movement and different lighting. It was important to take clear, high-quality photos without missing important moments.

To handle this, I used fast and reliable camera gear that worked well in different lighting conditions. I made sure to take a mix of wide shots to show the whole booth, medium shots of the displays, and close-up shots of people interacting with the products.

I also worked closely with the Ravenol team to understand what they wanted to highlight. This helped me focus on the right moments — like people asking questions, giving feedback, or reacting to the brand’s presentation.

THE RESULT

The final photos told the full story of Ravenol’s presence at the event. The pictures showed how active and engaging their booth was, and how people reacted positively to their products.

Ravenol used the photos in their social media posts, marketing materials, and event recaps. The images helped them connect with more people and share the success of the event even after it was over.

In the end, the photography captured both the energy of the event and the strong impression Ravenol made on visitors.
